Booking & Retainer Fee Policy

All appointments must be booked online through the HairxElaine booking system. A non-refundable retainer fee is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The retainer fee will be based upon the service selected and the amount of time it takes. This fee is applied toward your final service total. Retainer fee's are transferable one time in the event you must reschedule your appointment for another day. If you fail to show up, cancel late, or violate the prep policies, the retainer is forfeited and will not be refunded or credited. By booking, you acknowledge and accept this policy.


Appointment Preparation & Detangling Policy

Please arrive with your hair fully detangled and free of heavy oils, gels, or protective styles.

Excessive tangles, buildup, or unremoved styles will result in a detangling fee or your appointment being rescheduled (and retainer forfeited).

Detangling Fee: Starting at $50
(Applied if more than 10 minutes of detangling is needed)


Consultation Policy

New clients requesting color or extension services are required to book a consultation prior to their full service. This ensures your hair health, texture match, and expectations are fully understood.


Cancellation, Reschedule & No-Show Policy

  • Rescheduling/Cancellations: Must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid fees.

  • Late Cancellations (within 48 hours): 50% of the total service price will be charged.

  • No-Shows/Same-Day Cancellations: 100% of the service price will be charged.

All fees are non-refundable. If an emergency arises inform me as soon as you can. Repeated violations may result in restricted booking access.


Late Policy

There is a 10-minute grace period. After 10 minutes, services may be adjusted or canceled depending on timing and the nature of your service.Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late are considered a no-show and will be charged accordingly.


Refund & Service Adjustment Policy

All sales are final. I do not offer refunds on retainer fees, services, extensions or products. If anything occurs with your results, you must contact me within 72 hours of your appointment. Adjustments (if applicable) will be made at my discretion and based on the original service booked.


Extension Maintenance Policy

Extension clients are required to maintain their install within the suggested time frame (typically 4–6 weeks). Failure to return for scheduled maintenance may affect install longevity, hair health, and eligibility for future extension services.


Guests & Children Policy

To maintain a peaceful, private environment, no additional guests or children are allowed unless being serviced. Please arrive solo to your appointment.


Health & Safety

If you are sick, experiencing symptoms, or have been exposed to illness, please reschedule your appointment. Services may be refused at the stylist's discretion for health and safety of myself and my guests.


Accepted Payments

I accept cash, all major cards, and select digital payment methods. Full payment is due at the end of your service. Pricing listed online reflects starting rates and may be adjusted based on length, density, add ons or complexity of your hair.


Content Use & Media Policy

Photos/videos may be taken during or after your service for promotional purposes and portfolio. If you prefer not to be captured, kindly let me know at the start of your appointment.
